The South Glens Falls Fire Company Holiday Parade

There is nothing like a parade to get you in the spirit of the season. Don't miss the annual South Glens Falls Holiday Parade!
The Holiday Parade takes place every year on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. The parade steps off at 5PM and travels north along Route 9 through the Village of South Glens Falls from Carriage Traders to The Peppermill.
Note, the time has changed from last year - it used to kick off at 1pm.
The parade showcases dozens of entries, which include community groups, bands, floats, costumed characters, marchers, and of course, an appearance by a very special guest: Santa Claus!
Trophies are awarded in the categories of:
- Best Decorated Emergency Vehicle
- Best School Float
- Best School Musical Group
- Best Dance Group
- Most Creative
- Holiday Cheermeister
