2021 Holiday Parade

The Holiday Parade takes place every year on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. The parade will travel north along Route 9 through the Village of South Glens Falls from Carriage Traders to The Peppermill. The parade will showcase dozens of entries, which include community groups, bands, floats, costumed characters, marchers and of course, an appearance by a very special guest: Santa Claus!

Don't forget, this fun event is also a charitable one! Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or a new, unwrapped toy. Food items will be donated to the Moreau Community Center and toys will benefit local children through our area Marine detachment's Toys for Girls and Boys program.

Please stayed tuned for the 2021 schedule.

2020 Schedule:

  • 9:00AM: Lineup begins at the corner of Feeder Dam Road and State Route 9 for larger vehicles and floats needing assembly (walking groups and those not being judged can come in later)
  • 12:00PM: All participants need to be in their position in the lineup
  • 1:00PM: The 40th Annual Holiday Parade begins!
