15th Annual Lake George Village Oktoberfest & Fall Festival

Raise a stein and celebrate the arrival of fall in the Adirondacks as the heart of Lake George Village transforms into a Bavarian-style street fair for Columbus Day Weekend. Canada Street, across from Shepard Park, will be blocked off and filled with festival tents for a weekend of food, music, and celebration, rain or shine.

New for 2026, Lake George Village Oktoberfest has been extended to include Friday! The festival will also feature even more vendors, and they will be using the Village's New Stage and sound system for German dancers and to pipe German music throughout Shepard Park.

Thousands of annual festival-goers gather for a weekend of Bavarian-style celebration, featuring:

• Nonstop German and polka music with traditional dancers
• Adirondack Brewery Beer Garden
• Bratwurst, Knackwurst, Weisswurst, and potato pancakes
• Keg tossing and stein hoisting
• Local artisan vendors and crafts (from woodcarvers to jewelry makers to hot cider donuts)
• Carnival rides
• Chicken Dance with the Dancing Chicken
• Local wine sampling

Family-Friendly Fun

The Lake George Village Oktoberfest is a family-friendly event, with children's activities available throughout the weekend, including crafts, games, and carnival rides.

Well-Behaved Dogs Welcome

Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome at this outdoor event. Owners are asked to clean up after their pets and bring water or other supplies their dog may need during the day.
