Since opening in 2009, Cooper’s Cave Ale Company’s restaurant has become a popular neighborhood brewpub offering delicious pub grub and the brewery’s selection of handcrafted ales. Unfortunately, due to a number of factors, Cooper’s Cave has decided to close their pub temporarily starting Sunday, October 4, 2020.
What’s the Plan for Cooper’s Cave?
Referring to the temporary closure, Cooper’s Cave owner Patty Bethel says, “There were a lot of factors leading to this decision, and it’s okay. I feel confident with this choice, and we’re focusing on areas of the business that are popular year after year. The pub is not permanently closed. Come January, we will reassess.”
Bethel emphasized they have every intention of reopening the pub when conditions permit, but because of COVID-19, the 50% indoor seating capacity regulation, and cold weather approaching, this is the right decision for them.
