Gem Fest Returns to Downtown Glens Falls This August

Band Performing

After a two-year hiatus, Gem Fest is set to return to downtown Glens Falls on August 22, bringing a full evening of live music, art, and community celebration back to City Park and surrounding venues.

The festival runs from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will feature performances from Sophistafunk, Glass Pony, Capital Zen, Joe Mansman & The Midnight Revival Band, The Hauntings, and several other regional acts. Additional performances and activities are planned throughout the event, with more announcements still to come.

Live painters will once again be part of the experience, adding a visual arts element that has helped make Gem Fest a unique fixture in the local music scene. Featured artists include Hannah Williams, Rodney Allen Bentley, Stephanie Vaus, Alexandra Scoville, and others.

Gem Fest first launched in 2017 and quickly became a favorite summer event in Glens Falls before organizers announced a hiatus following the 2023 festival. Its return is expected to draw music fans, artists, and visitors back downtown for a day that highlights the area's creative community.

Tickets are available now, and organizers encourage attendees to follow festival updates as additional details are released. For local music lovers, the countdown to one of downtown's most anticipated summer events is officially underway.
