For over 25 years, Adirondack Seafood Co. has supplied the Glens Falls Region with fresh seafood from the New England coast and beyond. The Hudson Falls-based business has grown into a leading seafood provider over the years, and now it has expanded and opened a second market over in Queensbury!
Mike Willig, the owner of Adirondack Seafood Co., grew up in the seafood business. Having fished in Alaska in the 1980s, Willig recognizes the importance of providing high quality wild, organic fish and seafood to his customers.
At Adirondack Seafood Co., fish and seafood arrive daily from a wide variety of sources, including the North Atlantic region, Alaska, Mexico, Chile, and even Norway. The market has offered everything from Chesapeake oysters to giant lobster tails.
In addition to its fresh fish market, Adirondack Seafood Co. in Hudson Falls is also a full service restaurant. Customers can stop by for lunch or dinner, or they can get a take-out seafood meal.
At its new Queensbury location, Adirondack Seafood Co. currently offers chowder and salads, but there are plans to include lobster rolls and other items on the menu.
For seafood, the Queensbury market is already selling fresh Icelandic cod, shrimp, sushi-grade tuna, smelts, and walleye from the Great Lakes.
As the winner of 8 consecutive Best of the Region Awards, Adirondack Seafood Co. is ready to operate two businesses in the Glens Falls Region. The address of the new market is 60 Glenwood Avenue, Queensbury, NY.
