p brief - alex lambiaso.jpgGlens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. has expanded its wealth management team with the addition of Alex Lambiaso, CPA, as retirement plan services officer.

Lambiaso will focus on the administration of retirement plan, IRA, trust and estate accounts. He joins the bank with nearly 30 years of financial experience.

Lambiaso earned his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Plattsburgh. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A resident of Queensbury, he is active in the community as a percussionist in the Lake George Community Band and a finance committee member and scholarship committee member for the Queensbury United Methodist Church.

p brief -keri dudek.jpgThe Hyde Collection announced the hiring of two new educators, Keri Dudek and Robin Akins Brewer.

As members of the education team, Dudek and Akins Brewer will help design and administer educational classesp brief - robin akins brewer.jpg to connect artwork to the community.

Dudek is an art teacher at the Charlton School in Burnt Hills. Previously, she acted as children’s program coordinator at Fairview Public Library in Margaretville, N.Y., and taught art to children ages 8 to 18 at the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston. She lives in Ballston Spa with her husband and three children.
Akins Brewerhas worked as an art teacher for Glens Falls City School District for 30 years. She also taught summer enrichment classes at SUNY Adirondack. She has a bachelor’s degree in art education from Skidmore College.

Dudek and Akins Brewer will lead The Hyde’s weekly programs–Artful Afternoon, Tours for Tots, and Drop In and Draw– as well as the museum’s monthly STEAM program.

p brief - nancy gildersleeve.jpgAdirondack Health Institute announced the hiring of two staff members.

Nancy Gildersleeve joins AHI as prevention and planning director after serving in a number of leadership roles for the corporate offices of the Capital District YMCA.

Most recently, Gildersleeve blended association advancement and operational roles to create health equity and address chronic health issues in the community. She was also involved in building and advancing comprehensive, evidence-based wellness programs in the organization’s nine-branch service region.

Gildersleeve, who holds a degree in human services, is responsible for leading and overseeing a number of programs that focus on community health planning and improvement and strategic initiatives including network development, advocacy, and service line development, including the Population Health Improvement Program (PHIP), Adirondack Rural Health Network (ARHN), and Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program Project 4.a.iii – Strengthening Mental Health and Substance Abuse Infrastructure Across Systems.

Dwane Sterling joins AHI as director, health system transformation technology, after serving as manager of information services at Albany Medical Center.

In that role, he was responsible for the management of data and information protection, threat and vulnerability, incident response, and security architecture and infrastructure for the hospital.

In his new role, Sterling has leadership responsibility for executing AHI’s health information technology strategy, governance and security requirements, reporting needs and data sources to develop metrics and deliverables for planning and evaluation purposes, developing regional population health management capabilities, and working with the local Regional Health Innovation Organization to maximize AHI partner interoperability.

Sterling, a certified project management professional, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
