Acupuncture Studio Moves To Civic Center Plaza, Offers Community Treatment Model

Kevin Campopiano, owner of the The Acupuncture Studio, now in its 8th year of business, is relocating from the Shirt Factory to 5 Warren Street, Civic Center Plaza in downtown Glens Falls.

The Studio wishes to extend a sincere thank you to building owner, Peter Hoffman and his son Pete for the incredible transformation of the 2nd floor space into a modern, bright, healing studio. The new design will embrace the community acupuncture model, which allows up to 10 people to be treated at once, while also allowing for a second treatment space.

The Acupuncture Studio is a husband and wife partnership, with Cindy Campopiano, a licensed massage therapist and current Manager at Parks Heritage Federal Credit Union, serving as steward of the Acupuncture Studio mission–to be part of a national movement to make acupuncture affordable to individuals within the community.

The Acupuncture Studio’s community acupuncture approach offers an affordability through a $15-$35 sliding scale model. The prices are set based on income and frequency of visits. “We are very excited to be moving downtown. Joining this increasingly vibrant neighborhood of merchants, restaurateurs and other personal care providers, is such a great opportunity for us,” said Cindy Campopiano.

The Acupuncture Studio will mark its first official day at 5 Warren Street in Civic Center Plaza on Monday, April 2nd. A month after their Grand Opening, they will take part in Free Acupuncture for All Day on Tuesday, May 1st.

“The years I have spent practicing acupuncture have allowed me to see first hand the tremendous impact regular treatments can offer people. From chronic pain to stress management and overall wellness, acupuncture can complement traditional methods and, in many cases, get people over the insurmountable hump standing between where they are and a better quality of life,” explains Kevin Campopiano, NYS Licensed Acupuncturist.

Kevin Campopiano is a 2004 graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture with a dual major in Acupuncture and Chinese herbs. The Acupuncture Studio will be open M/W/F 9am – 6pm and Tues/Thurs. 1pm – 8pm.
