Like many people, Maria Leuci of Queensbury has struggled with diet and health. In a personal quest to find wholeness, she enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition certification program, based in New York City and then opened her health coaching business, Wholesome Natural Health.
During her time at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, she participated in the Health Coach Training Program, which teaches over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and cutting-edge coaching methods, and became certified as a Health Coach.
Through her training at the Institute, Leuci learned to integrate a variety of dietary theories to provide comprehensive coaching training to individuals struggling with their health. “My approach is unique. It does not dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins,” she said. “It does not create lists of restrictions or good and bad foods.”
As a Health Coach, Leuci provides ongoing support and guidance to her clients and helps them set goals that will allow them to make sustainable changes to improve their health and happiness.
Maria works personally with each client to find the individual dietary and lifestyle changes that produces real and lasting results. “No one diet works for everyone,” she said. “My holistic approach means that I look at how all areas of life are connected. Does stress at work or in relationships cause overeating? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent exercise?” she asked. “I help clients discover these factors, and then create a plan that will enable success.”
