The Last of the Mohicans Outdoor Drama, Inc. will host a fall fundraiser event the evening of Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Wild Horse Saloon on the grounds of the Wild West Ranch & Western Town in Lake George, NY. The event is billed as “Murder on Bloody Pond Road” and will feature select characters from their annual summer production of the Last of the Mohicans Outdoor Drama.
The twist for the evening is that guests will be asked to travel back in time to 1758 (a year after the fateful siege of Fort William Henry) and attend the colonial wedding of Miss Alice Munro to Major Duncan Heyward at the “Bloody Pond Tavern”. Among guests will be Hawkeye, Chingachgook, and David Gamut (characters from James Fenimore Cooper’s The Last of the Mohicans), French & Indian war hero, Sir William Johnson and other colonial inhabitants of the Lake George Region. All will find themselves witnessing and participating in the investigation of a “historical homicide” as part of the evening’s festivities.
Tickets for the event are $45 per person in advance, $55 at the door. Tickets include participation in the murder mystery event and complemented with a spread of lite Colonial foods. A cash bar will also be available. For more information and to purchase tickets please visit www.LastoftheMohicans.org or calling 855-SEE-1757.
