SheetLabels.com, a label manufacturing
operation, cites rapid growth as the need
for a recent move from Queensbury to Glens
Falls.
The company said it has seen 35 percent
growth, on average, each year since 2006.
With the need for more space to better
service current and future customers SheetLabels.com made the move to a new facility
in October.
The SheetLabels.com facility went from
a 7,000-square-foot building on Bay Road in
Queensbury, to a 33,000-square-foot building
located on Pruyns Island Drive in Glens Falls.
The company is currently occupying half
of the new building, with plans to grow in to
the second half of the building within the
next two or three years, officials said.
“Having more space gives us room for more
capabilities to better serve our customers,”
said CEO/President Adam Gray. “It is also a
boost to company morale, and it gives us the
much needed room for expansion and new
equipment. We needed a more dynamic workspace
and the new facility provides that.”
“We looked for new facilities both locally
and out of the area. After a lot of thought we
decided the best move was to stay right here
in Glens Falls where the company started,”
Gray said. “This was the best move for the brand, for our current team, and for the
Glens Falls community.”
He said SheetLabels.com is investing
$3-$4 million between the new building,
and training, along with an additional $1.5
million for new advanced equipment. The expansion
will add more jobs to the community
in the coming years as well as advancement
opportunities for current employees.
Gray said the company is quickly approaching
30 employees with plenty of room
for more growth in the coming years within
this new facility. The majority of the current
employees were added in the past 3-5 years,
with plans to add even more within the near
future.
The biggest factors for the success of
SheetLabels.com, according to Gray, are
also the reasons that they are different than
other label and packaging manufacturers:
top-notch customer service, convenience,
prices, quick turnaround, in-house software
development, and the ability to better
streamline production abilities.
SheetLabels.com was founded in 2003 and
was incorporated in 2006 in Queensbury. The
company specializes in manufacturing standard
and custom labels for all applications.
