Scott Grimmett was named CEO of Golub Corp., the owner of the Price Chopper supermarket chain, taking over for Jerry Golub.

Grimmett has led the transformation of Price Chopper to the Market 32 brand, a multi-year strategy designed to keep the chain competitive.

Grimett was named company president last year, becoming the first person in that role who isn’t a member of the Golub family.

He will be responsible for day-to-day operations and influence the strategic direction of the company. He will report to the board of directors through Neil Golub, who remains executive chairman.

Dr. Provost received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and completed his residency at the Medical Center of Vermont. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Manrique, CNM, received her certification as a nurse midwife from the Baystate Nurse and Midwifery Education Program in Springfield, Mass. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Fort Hudson Health System announced the appointment of two employees to newly created positions to support the continuing growth of the home and community service division.

Rhenda Campbell, RN, was appointed to the position of director of case management.

Campbell has been with Fort Hudson since 1990 in a number of positions, most recently as the director of structured social adult day. This newly created position reflects the ongoing growth of case management and related functions, now serving almost 150 Medicaid clients throughout the region.

Stephanie Morin, RN, was appointed to the position of program advancement specialist.

Morin has been with Fort Hudson since 2010 as a nurse manager. This position provides direct outreach to a wide range of constituents to provide education on Fort Hudson’s programs, advances relationships with existing referral sources, and serves as a primary communication point for care transitions.

Associates of Glens Falls Insurance announced the hiring of two new employees. Brendan Graney and Pam Mitchell.

Graney, an account executive, is a state-licensed insurance broker who graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He previously worked as a territory sales manager for Commonwealth Altadis and volunteers his time as a coach for Adirondack Mountain Men AAU Basketball.

Joining the AOGF group as a commercial lines account manager, Mitchell has over 28 years of insurance industry experience.

She holds a state-license insurance agent and holds a Certified Insurance Service Representative designation. She began her career at Continental Insurance Co. and has held positions at Travelers Insurance and Cool Insurance Agency.

SaxBST announced the following additions to its Albany office: James Cole, CPA rejoins the firm as a partner in the tax department. He returns after two years with a Boston area firm, and over 18 years with SaxBST’s legacy firm Bollam, Sheedy Torani & Co. (BST)

Dawn Doherty, CPA, also rejoins the firm as a partner in the tax department. She previously served as a senior manager with BST from July 2011 to April 2012.

Donald Carobine joins the accounting and auditing department as a senior manager.

Amy Rich joins the valuation, forensic and litigation support unit as an analyst.

Jeremy DeBarr joins the accounting and auditing department as an associate.

Andy Matthews joins the accounting and auditing department as a manager.

Megan Harnett joins the accounting and auditing department as a bookkeeper.

Adirondack Health Institute (AHI) announces the hiring of new staff members.

Amber Guyette joins AHI as a community engagement facilitator for the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program.

Guyette, formerly a rehabilitation coordinator for the Liberty House Foundation and a secretary for Glens Falls Hospital’s Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit, will support and train professionals in implementing patient activation strategies for engaging low/non-using Medicaid recipients.

Guyette earned an Associate of Art degree in humanities from SUNY Adirondack and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from SUNY Plattsburgh.

Alisa Preston joins AHI as an enrollment specialist for the Enrollment Assistance Services and Education (EASE) program. Preston, formerly a NY State of Health Marketplace in-person navigator for the Massena Independent Living Center, provides assistance to individuals, families and small business owners enrolling in health insurance.

Preston earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in integrative studies from Penn State University.

Jon Quintal joins AHI as workforce coordinator for the DSRIP program. Quintal, formerly a training and change management specialist for Gracenote, Inc., provides assistance and support for workforce initiatives related to the Performing Provider System (PPS).

Quintal earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/communications from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.

Chelsea Truehart has accepted the position of workforce coordinator for the DSRIP program. Truehart, formerly the program and marketing coordinator for the Hudson Mohawk Area Health Education Center (HM AHEC), provides assistance and support for workforce initiatives related to the Performing Provider System (PPS).

Truehart earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art and a Master of Science degree in teaching from SUNY Potsdam.
