Capital Financial Group Inc., headquartered at 89 Saratoga Ave. in South Glens Falls, recently rebranded as the Employee Benefits Division of Upstate Agency LLC, its sister agency.
Both Upstate and Capital have been part of the Arrow Financial Corp. family of companies, which includes Glens Falls National Bank and Saratoga National Bank, for many years.
The joining of Capital under the Upstate brand seeks to deliver more value to the customer through efficiency and synergy.
“By uniting our two longstanding insurance brands, we will be able to better utilize our resources to bring our customers the highest level of service,” said Kevin O’Brien, senior vice president of insurance sales and operations. “Both the Upstate and the Capital brands represent decades of expertise in the insurance industry. With the creation of a dedicated Employee Benefits Division, now under Upstate, we will continue to serve the specialized needs of customers seeking group health and employee benefits.”
This step is one in a series taken to unify Arrow’s insurance offerings.
In October 2017, sister company McPhillips Insurance Agency rebranded as part of Upstate. Now, with the rebranding of Capital Financial Group, the insurance operations are unified under one name. All team members and locations have remained in place to serve customers as Upstate.
Upstate Agency specializes in personal, commercial and group health benefits insurance with offices in Warren, Washington, Clinton, Essex and Saratoga counties. It is part of the Arrow Financial Corp. family of companies and a subsidiary of Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co.
