Trio 826 will open the deBlasiis Chamber Music Series on Monday, September 24 at 7:30 pm at the Hyde Collection in Glens Falls. Their program will include Franz Schubert, Trio in B-flat Major, D.471, Alexander Borodin, Trio in G Minor, Zoltan Kodaly, Intermezzo for String Trio, and Robert Washut, Soneando for String Trio. The trio will be joined by a guest pianist and conclude with Gabriel Faure, Piano Quartet in C Minor.
Created in 2011by three friends looking to explore ideas for innovation in the performance of classical music, old and new, the Trio’s mission with this ensemble is to reach new audiences.
The trio consists of: Violinist Susanna Klein; Violist Julia Bullard; and, ‘Cellist Hannah Holman. They will be joined for this appearance by guest pianist Rene Lecuona. Ms. Lecuona has performed throughout South America, Mexico, the Caribbean and the United States and is Associate Professor of Piano at the University of Northern Iowa.
