The Lake George-Lake Placed Regional Planning board will hold a Southern Adirondack Planing and Zoning Forum on Sept. 19 at the Fort William Henry Conference Center, 48 Canada Street in Lake George.
The event wil run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The keynote speaker will be Fred Monroe, Chester town supervisor and executive director of the Adirondack Park Local Government Review Board.
He and other speakers will address a variety of issues including:
• Latest SEQRA regulation information.
• Use and area variances.
• “Green” infrastructure.
• “Dark sky” compliance.
• The Adirondack Park Agency land-use plan.
