The Broad Street Office of Glens Falls
National Bank and Trust Co. generated
almost $1,250 for two local nonprofits during
a Community Appreciation Day on Sept. 6.
Donations and proceeds from basket
raffles generated $1248.52, which will be
split between Open Arms Pregnancy Center
and Catholic Charities, both in Glens Falls.
In addition, the Warren-Washington ARC
enrolled 35 new members at the event, and
the Tri-County United Way was on-site with
an information table.
The Community Appreciation Day also included an Adirondack Phantoms hockey shoot-out game, food and refreshments, and a bounce house.
Three local organization–Open Arms Pregnancy Center, Catholic Charities and the Tri-County United Way–had informational displays. Basket raffles featured items donated by local merchants to raise funds for Open Arms and Catholic Charities.
