High Peaks Hospice and 99 Restaurant
in the Aviation Mall in Queensbury
will join forces for “Dining for a Cause” at
the restaurant 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Participating restaurant-goers will have 15
percent of their bill donated to High Peaks
Hospice & Palliative Care.
HPH&PC serves terminally ill patients,
and does not turn anyone away due to inability
to pay.
Hospice officials said due to decreases in
insurance reimbursements, from Medicaid
and Medicare, as well as private insurance,
HPH&PC must raise nearly $450,000 each
year to be able to fulfill its mission and care
for every patient and family that needs the
service.
