Somma earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting and an MBA from Siena College.
“We are excited to have Ann Marie rejoin the SUNY Adirondack community in this role,” said SUNY Adirondack President Dr. Kristine Duffy. “Her career experiences both in higher education and the private sector position her well to be a strong contributor to the success of the college.”
Somma’s new duties will include implementing and overseeing financial, accounting and budget systems; establishing a budget development process; serving as a member of Dr. Duffy’s executive staff; advancing the core principles of the college’s mission, vision and strategic priorities; serving as treasurer of the college and secretary/treasurer for the Adirondack Housing Association LLC; and serving on the board of directors for the Faculty-Student Association of SUNY Adirondack.
