Glens Falls National Bank and Trust
Co. promoted deposit operations manager
Wendy Lanzone to vice president.
The bank also appointed Donna
Perkett as executive vice president of
retail banking.
Lanzone oversees the operations of the
deposit services and
electronic banking
areas. She joined the
bank in 2010 as the
electronic banking
manager and a year
later was named assistant
vice president
and deposit operations
manager.
Lanzone serves on
the bank’s internal
United Way Committee and recently joined
the Liberty House Foundation Inc. board
of directors.
Perkett, of Queensbury, will oversee
branch services, marketing
and business
development for the
company. She brings
nearly 30 years of experience
to the position,
including more
than 20 focused on
retail banking.
She
most recently served
as a senior vice president
for Bank of America, where she was
responsible for distribution strategy for 140
retail branch locations in Upstate New York.
Perkett has a bachelor’s degree from
Boston University and an MBA from RPI .
She is active in the community, currently
serving as Chairperson for the Glens Falls
Foundation and on the Board of the Prospect
Child and Family Center.
The bank also announced the promotions
of mortgage originator Tesha Perry to officer
and April VanDerwerken to assistant
controller and officer.
Perry, of Bolton, will continue to work
with customers to
meet their mortgage
needs. She joined the
bank in 2010 as a residential
specialist in
the Direct Consumer
Lending Department.
In 2012, she was
named a mortgage
originator.
Perry is a graduate
of Bolton Central School and holds certifications
in graphic and visual communications
from Southern Adirondack Education
Center. She previously held a real estate
salesperson license and a real estate broker
license in New York state.
She is a volunteer with the Bolton Chamber
of Commerce, Bolton United Methodist
Church Planning Committee, South Glens
Falls Holiday Parade and as a Big Sister
with the Warren/Washington Counties Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
VanDerwerken will
assist with financial
reporting, Securities
and Exchange Commission
filings and
budget preparation
for the company. She
joined the bank in
2010 as an accounting
staff associate and
holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting
from SUNY Plattsburgh.
Active in her community, VanDerwerken
serves as an assistant troop leader for the
Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York, a
volunteer for Warm the Children, and a
participant in the Kidney Foundation’s
Kidney Walk. She resides in Queensbury.

associate attorney Jill O’Sullivan will be
honored by Soroptomist
International of
the Adirondacks as
a recipient of their
Ruby Award.
The award recognizes
and honors the
first federation president,
Ruby Lee Minar.
It honors women who
have worked to improve
the lives of women and girls through
their professional and/or volunteer work.
The award will be presented at the Soroptomist
International of the Adirondacks
annual award dinner on May 5 at the Hiland
Golf Club.

AAA Northway announced two travel
agents reached the $1 million mark in travel
sales for 2013.
Julie Humphries and Christine
Hadden from AAA Northway’s Queensbury
Travel Center,
reached the sales
milestone. Both
reached $1 million in
sales during 2011 and
2012 as well.
Humphries joined
AAA Northway as a
travel agent in 2010
after several years as
a travel professional
in another agency.
Hadden joined the
organization in 2008.
AAA Northway has
six travel centers with
a total of 17 travel agents throughout its 10
county territory in northeastern New York. Its full service travel agency has been open
since 1986 and travel services are available
to both AAA members and nonmembers.

Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. announced the promotion of Kim Winchell to vice president and branch services manager.
Winchell will provide support to the company’s branch network and help monitor for account fraud. She joined the Bank in 1986 as a teller and most recently served as branch manager of the Kingsbury and Fort Ann offices. She has been elected to the company’s High Per formance Club three times.
Winchell has an associate’s degree in banking from SUNY Adirondack and a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from the College of St. Joseph. She is also a graduate of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Program.
She recently served as treasurer of the Lake George Rotary Club, treasurer of the Rotary Club Foundation, and coâ€chairperson for the local Free To Breathe Walk. She resides in Kingsbury.

North America and
has also worked as
a consultant and executive chef on such
projects as the re-opening of Prime at
Saratoga National, as well as helping to
design new kitchens and create menus. In
2009, Vollkommer opened The Chocolate
Mill Pastry Shop & Café operating two locations
in Glens Falls and Saratoga Springs.
Coulman has
worked many years in
the food service field.
He started out in the
kitchens of various
Lake George restaurants.
He has worked
in the kitchens of the
Coachman and Mama
Riso’s, as well as had
manager and chef duties
at the various restaurants at the Fort
William Henry Resort. He did sales work
at Schwans Food Service and for the last
year worked in the Hillcrest warehouse as
a product selector.

two new employees to its team.
Robert Brush was hired as a network
security engineer.
Vincent Sprague was hired as a senior
solutions architect.
Brush brings five years of experience to
the team and will start a series of trainings
in the near future.
Sprague comes to the team from a large
IT services provider out of the Albany area.
He has 15 years of experience with Microsoft
server environments, as well as 10 years
of VMWare experience. He has multiple
certifications in VMware, Microsoft and
Symantec Technologies. His specialties are
virtualization, messaging and collaboration,
unified communications and all Microsoft
server platforms.
