The Adirondack
Trust Co. announced
that Guy Alonge
III was elected to its
board of directors.
Alonge is president
of the Amsure Division
of Adirondack Trust
Co. Financial Services
Inc. (ATCFSI) and
senior vice president
of Adirondack Trust Co. Financial Services
Inc. in Saratoga Springs. He joined ATCFSI in
2008, with the ATCFSI acquisition of Amsure.
Alonge has over 30 years’ experience in the
insurance industry. Prior to joining Amsure, he
held underwriting positions with the Reliance
Insurance Co. in Philadelphia and Baltimore
and served as a merger and acquisition consultant
for Price Waterhouse in New York. Additionally,
he was formerly a principal in the
private equity firm Frost Capital.
Alonge received an undergraduate degree
from the University at Albany and earned his
MBA from New York University’s Stern School
of Business. He also holds the chartered property/
casualty underwriter designation.
The Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce
hired Doreen
Kelly as its
new programs and
events coordinator.
Kelly previously
worked for the
Tri-County United
Way as a community
resource
coordinator and
TD Bank as the
branch manager
at the downtown Glens Falls location.
She is also a graduate of the 2014-15 class of
Leadership Adirondack.

Joseph Place
of Saratoga Springs
to vice president and
added him to the board
of directors.
Place has been with
AOGF since 2011 and
has over 26 years of
experience in a management
and marketing capacity for various
Fortune 100 insurance carriers including the
Hartford Insurance Co., Selective Insurance
Co. and Philadelphia Insurance.
Before joining AOGF, he served as the vice
president of commercial lines for Capital
Bauer Insurance Agency. He holds the certified
insurance counselor (CIC) designation
and has sat on numerous advisory councils
for leading insurance carriers.
Place has a Masters in Business Administration
from Syracuse University.

Solutions announced
the hiring of
Ashley LaVoy as a corporate
account manager
with a focus on the
Glens Falls Region.
Her efforts will be
to service the large
client base within the
region and cultivate
new relationships.
LaVoy was formerly programs and
events coordinator for the Adirondack
Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Arrow Financial
Corp. , the parent
company of Saratoga
National Bank and
Trust Co., appointed
David Kaiser to the
position of senior vice
president.
He will have overall
responsibility for the
corporation’s lending
function.
Kaiser will continue to serve as chief credit
officer and executive vice president for Glens
Falls National Bank and Trust Co., Arrow’s
lead subsidiary.
He joined the company in 2001 and has
more than 30 years of commercial lending experience
in the Capital Region. In 2011, Kaiser
was named chief credit officer for Glens Falls
National Bank, followed by a promotion to
executive vice president for the bank in 2012.
Kaiser has a bachelor’s degree in business
administration from Siena College. Active in
the community, he is a board member for the
Prospect Child and Family Center, Treasurer
for the Glen at Hiland Meadows, and an Assistant
Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts Troop 4. He
is also a member of the Fort Hudson Health
System Capital Campaign Committee, the
Warren County Local Development Corp. Loan
Review Committee, and the Our Lady of the
Annunciation Finance Committee.
