The Lake George Chamber of Commerce & CVB
recently elected a new slate of officers for its board
of directors for the 2105-16 fiscal year.
The newly elected officers are:

Fox owner, Adirondack Cotton Co., Bolton Landing,
first vice president; Dennis LaFontaine, owner,
Martha’s Dandee Crème, Queensbury, second vice

Dunham’s Bay Resort, Lake George, treasurer; and
Gary Thornquist, general manager, Lake George
RV Park, Queensbury, secretary.
The officers will be introduced at the Chamber’s

AHI (Adirondack Health Institute) announced
the hiring of five staff members.
RuthAnn Craven joins AHI as transformation
coach. She brings more than 20 years of health care
administration experience. Prior to joining AHI,
Craven served as a project coordinator for Nathan
Littauer Primary/Specialty Care Centers.
She will be
responsible for supporting patient-centered care and
care coordination in primary care centers through
training and coaching of providers and staff in
clinical transformation and quality improvement
methods in order to improve health care outcomes
and reduce disparities.
Craven has a bachelor’s degree in accounting
from Siena College, and a master of science degree
in health administration from Russell Sage College.
Paula Jacobson joins AHI as a project manager.
Her professional experiences included business
analyst at 3M Health Information Systems, and
Community Health Policy and Healthcare Trustees of
New York State intern at the Healthcare Association
of New York State.
She will manage projects related to the Delivery
System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP)
program.
Jacobson earned a bachelor of science degree from
SUNY Buffalo, and an MBA with a specialization in
health care from Sage Graduate School.
Deborah LaRose joins AHI as manager, project
performance. She served as a project manager for
Fingerpaint Marketing and Palio+Ignite.
She will
provide leadership and coordination for multiple
performance and quality improvement initiatives
underway in a nine-county region of Northern
New York.
LaRose earned a bachelor of arts degree
in communications from SUNY Plattsburgh, and
a master’s degree in psychology from the Georgia
School of Professional Psychology.
Susan Omiecinski joins AHI as an enrollment
specialist for the Enrollment Assistance Service
and Education (EASE) program.
She served as a
home and family services program director for the
Washington County Economic Opportunity Council.
Omiecinski will assist individuals, families and
small business owners enroll in health insurance
through the NY State of Health Marketplace.
Omiecinski earned an AAS degree in business
administration cum laude from SUNY Adirondack
and attended the NYS Community Action
Association’s Emerging Leader Institute.
Leza Wood was hired as the executive director of
the Hudson Mohawk Area Health Education Center.
She held the position of workforce and professional
development administrator for SUNY Adirondack’s
Office of Continuing Education.
Wood will provide leadership, day-to-day
management, and fiscal oversight of the HM AHEC.
Wood earned a bachelor of science degree in
business management, with a concentration in
training and development from SUNY Empire State
College. She is also a Microsoft certified trainer.

Lisa Shields recently
joined the team at
Mannix Marketing,
Inc. as a client support
specialist.
Shields holds a
bachelor’s degree in
computer science from
SUNY Potsdam and has
substantial experience
in office management as
well as marketing and website client support services.
After beginning her career in California as a
member of the sales and support staff at the Hewlett-
Packard Co., Shields worked for Ascension Lutheran
School where she directed the implementation of
school-wide computing and assisted with launching
their website. For the past nine years, she has worked
for several nonprofit organizations in the Saratoga
Springs area.
As client support specialist, Shields will provide
clients with customer service and assist with website
edits and adjustments. She will also serve as office
manager.

Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. hired Russ
Antonacci as vice president and investment officer.
Antonacci will serve as a portfolio manager
for individual and corporate retirement plans,
personal trust, investment management accounts,
foundations and not-for-profit relationships. He joins
the bank with more than 17 years of investment and
portfolio management
experience in the Capital
Region.

business administration
from the College of Saint
Rose.

PrimeLink has hired of Erik Amaliksen as
director of internet service.
Amaliksen brings 20 years of experience to
the company, including systems administration,
project management, and IT operations. He was
most recently the Technical Project Manager
for the Vermont Telecommunication Authority
(VTA). Previously, he held the position of network
engineering manager for the state of Vermont.
He attended the business management program at
Salem State University, is a US Army Veteran, and is
a graduate of the University of Vermont. Amaliksen
will be responsible for managing the day-to-day
operations of the technical team responsible for the
provisioning and maintenance of internet service,
as well as the oversight of the internal network
infrastructure, including tracking work orders,
network monitoring, and hardware upgrades.

Associates in Queensbury
announced that Lisa A.
Miller of Saratoga Springs
was hired as marketing
and communications
manager.
Miller brings
more than 25 years
of experience in
marketing and corporate
communications to her
new position. She spent 22 years with KeyCorp,
including 12 years at its international affiliate Key
Equipment Finance where she was marketing and
employee communications manager.
For the past eight years, she has run her own
business developing marketing communications and
by-lined articles for a national business clientele. She
is a member of the Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs
and serves on the club’s board of directors. She is
also a member of Albany Pro Musica, the capital
region’s premier choral group, for which she serves as administrator, section leader and singer. Miller
earned her B.A. from Skidmore College.

addition of William “Bill” Otto as cost management
associate.
Otto has many years of customer service and
retail inventory management experience. His areas
of responsibility will be working with the sales reps

Tuttle as a sales executive
for Warren, Washington
and Saratoga counties.
Tuttle will focus on
growing the insurance
customer base and
meeting the insurance
needs of existing
customers in and around
the tri-county area. She joins the agency with 19 years
of experience in insurance and sales.
Tuttle has a bachelor’s degree in business
management from Empire State College. Active in
her community, she serves as an ambassador for the
Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce and
secretary for the Glens Falls Collaborative.

Saratoga National Bank
and Trust Co. appointed
David Kruczlnicki to its
board of directors. From
1989 until 2013, he was
president and CEO of
Glens Falls Hospital.
Kruczlnicki also serves
on the board of the bank’s
parent company, Arrow
Financial Corp., a role he
has held since 1989. He
previously served as a director for Arrow’s other
banking subsidiary, Glens Falls National Bank and
Trust Co., from 1989 to 2015.
Kruczlnicki currently teaches at Siena College
and is president of a consulting firm that advises
nonprofits on business-planning. His also currently
serves on the boards of the Greater Adirondack Home
Aides and the Glens Falls Symphony.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Siena College,
an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and
is recipient of the Life Fellowship of the American
College of Healthcare Executives. Active in the
community, he is a Rotarian and a member of various
chambers of commerce throughout the region.

Shannon Regner, PT, owner of Queensbury based
Innova Physical Therapy, was recently awarded
a certificate of achievement in pelvic physical
therapy (CAPP) by the American Physical Therapy
Association (APTA).
Regner is the only physical therapist north of
Troy to have this certification and is honored by the
recognition, the group said.
A certified CAPP physical therapist who
has participated rigorous continuing education
classes, passed exams and wrote a case report that
was approved by the APTA. The classes covered
topics including urinary incontinence, bowel
complications, and pelvic pain disorders for women,
men, and children.

The Glen at Hiland Meadows, a retirement
community in Queensbury, appointed Andrea
Hebert as executive director.
Hebert formerly served as executive director
of Glen Eddy, The Eddy’s retirement community
in Niskayuna. Hebert first joined The Eddy senior
care network in 1991, and has served in several
leadership capacities, including as finance director
of the housing division for many years, managing
the financial operations of The Eddy’s five retirement
communities.
In addition to The Glen at Hiland Meadows, The
Eddy operates four other senior living communities.
They are: Beverwyck in Slingerlands, Glen Eddy in
Niskayuna, Hawthorne Ridge in East Greenbush, and Beechwood in Troy.
A resident of Queensbury, Hebert received her
bachelor’s degree in accounting from Russell Sage
College.

The Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC)
welcomed Diamond Point resident Tom Hall as
the newest member of its
Board of Directors.
Hall joins the
board with extensive
environmental and
management experience,
as well as a deep local
connection to the lake.
Hall retired from
the state Department
of Environmental
Conservation after a 33-year career in public service
that focused on environmental protection. He held
the position of special assistant/assistant regional
director for DEC Region 5.
Hall was involved with implementing the state’s
Freshwater Wetlands Law, a regulatory program
that set the stage for protecting state wetland
resources; managed environmental permitting as
an environmental analyst and permit administrator;
was responsible for the oversight and management
of DEC’s environmental permitting program within
Region 5 as regional permit administrator.
He also served as a Lake George Park
Commissioner for a number of years.
