The Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce (ARCC) Leadership Adirondack class of 2018 presented a check for $13,000 to the Open Door Mission at the graduation ceremony in February at the Great Escape Lodge.
As part of their leadership experience, each class chooses a nonprofit organization through a brief application process for which to raise funds. This year’s class was tasked with planning and executing their choice of fundraising events for the Open Door Mission, which included a movie premier, a hockey night, several dining fundraisers and a very successful business mixer at forged restaurant in Hudson Falls.
