TIMIT Solutions in Glens Falls, a company that provides IT solutions for businesses, recently created a new app for a client, UVBioTek.
UVBioTek, a company that specializes in light therapy for skin conditions, commissioned an app from TIMIT that will compliment their new line of LED photo-rejuvenation products. Called My POLY, it is accessible for iOS and Android devices and provides users with information on the light therapy products, as well as training and regiment schedules.
“UVBioTek is the first to provide light therapy customers with a robust app to help them maximize their purchase by having everything they need on their mobile device. The UVBioTek team came up with innovative ways to create a rewarding user experience,” said Tim Montgomery, company president.
The app is now available for consumers to download. TIMIT Solutions intends to continue add to the app’s features. In the next phase, they hope to allow users to connect with spas and doctor’s offices where people can receive light therapy treatments. Each subsequent phase will add to the available features.
Montgomery said TIMIT Solutions will continue to grow their mobile app business, as well as promoting their existing products. Regarding My POLY, they hope to help promote it and UVBioTek through a giveaway of light therapy products.
“We can’t say enough about how much fun it is working with the UVBioTek team of creative and dynamic people,” said Montgomery. “We love it when our customers tell us we’re fun to work with. But we enjoy the fun they provide even more.”
TIMIT was founded in 2012. The company provides three types of services for clients, including custom software development, IT staffing and placement, and business and IT consulting. According Montgomery, the services include planning for and executing everything from large scale IT projects to augmenting with consultants and permanent hires.
With technology constantly changing, and tech companies continually pushing new hardware on consumers and businesses, TIMIT Solutions helps businesses flourish, rather than making a “hard sell.”
“We don’t “sell” IT, we help determine what solution makes sense for our customer’s business based on the experience we have being in their shoes, and what has worked well for other customers,” said Montgomery. “If the solution does not require new technology, but maybe just a process change, or some other no-cost change we will tell our customer straight up.”
Despite this, there are times when clients require custom software, and TIMIT Solutions provides help.
