Bug-U Pest Control has found a new home in downtown Hudson Falls. Owner Brent Brewer said it was time to move into an actual office space and out of his home, where he was previously located.
As owner and operator of the pest control business, serving both residential and commercial properties, opening the new location on 162 Main St. in Hudson Falls, is something Brewer had been contemplating for a while.
“I am now centrally located, by the park. Hudson Falls is really an area that is growing, especially downtown. There are alot of good things going and the area is really undergoing quite a revitalization. Everyone has been so nice and so welcoming,” said Brewer.
He is a lifelong resident of the area, where he is now raising a family. He said he wants to continue to give back by expanding the business over the next few years, something he said the new 1,200-square-foot office space will allow him to do.
“This space will allow me to hire some office staff as well as a few technicians. That is the goal for the next few years, which is why I wanted to get settled and established downtown,” said Brewer.
Bug-U Pest Control is a state-licensed wildlife nuisance control company, specializing in capturing and removing bats, squirrels, skunks, raccoons, moles, chipmunks, groundhogs, and snakes.
Brewer said they only use safe and humane methods to control, trap, relocate, and prevent problems. They also work to identify nesting areas and their feeding places.
Brewer is trained to safely handle all pest infestations, allowing homeowners to hand off the unwanted task to a professional. He has been in the pest control business since 1998.
“It is often something that homeowners would rather not try to tackle on their own,” said Brewer.
