Cool Insuring Arena has entered into a two-year agreement with Upstate Chevy Dealers to rebrand the box office to the Upstate Chevy Dealers Box Office at Cool Insuring Arena.
“We’re proud to partner with a great member of our community in the Upstate Chevy Dealers as we are able to name our box office for the first time in its 39-year history,” Cool Insuring Arena General Manager Jeff Mead said. “We have seen mutual success with our sponsorship deals throughout the arena and hope to continue that success with the new naming of our box office.”
Upstate Chevy Dealers becomes the first sponsor of the building’s ticketing center since its inception in 1979.
The two-year agreement will keep the dealership as the official sponsor of the box office through at least 2020. As part of its deal, Upstate Chevy has updated and rebranded the outside area of the box office.
The naming rights deal marks a continued step forward as the Adirondack Civic Center Coalition and Adirondack Thunder hockey team are involved in the 2018-2019 ECHL season.
“The Upstate Chevy dealers are very excited to be partnering with Cool Insuring Arena and the Adirondack Thunder organization,” Upstate Chevy Dealers president Mike Coffey said. “We look forward to what will be an excellent season and are happy to have Chevy and all the dealers be a part of the action.”
