LayerEight has opened a satellite office at 3 Broad Street, Floor 3, in downtown Glens Falls and appointed Bryan Carr as Account Executive for the southern region.
The managed IT services provider said the office will support client development and service across a territory from Lake George to Clifton Park.
Carr is a lifelong area resident who lives in Saratoga. Before entering the private sector, he served nine years in the United States Navy, including two years as a recruiter working with local school districts and community events.
“Bryan is exactly the kind of person we were looking for to join the LayerEight team. He grew up here, served here, and knows these communities personally. That type of local credibility you can’t manufacture, and it aligns perfectly with how we build relationships with our clients,” said Vicki Marking, Sales & Marketing Director.
LayerEight provides outsourced IT services under a flat monthly rate, including cybersecurity, compliance, network management and technical support. The company also offers hosted phone systems and operates a separate division for telecommunications construction projects.
“I’m excited to bring LayerEight’s services to the businesses I’ve grown up around. A lot of small and mid-sized companies in this area are doing the best they can with technology that isn’t serving them well. I want to change that with one conversation at a time,” explained Carr.
Carr is available to meet with businesses throughout the region to discuss technology needs and schedule a complimentary IT assessment. He can be reached at 518-324-9381 or bcarr@lyr8.com.
LayerEight is headquartered in Plattsburgh and is a sister company to Champlain Technology Group, a local independent exchange carrier, that has been in business since 1903. For more information, visit www.thelayereight.com.
