Hospitality Syracuse Inc., the locally owned and operated Taco Bell franchise group, opened a new Taco Bell restaurant in Queensbury on Nov. 13.
The owners, along with local politicians and representatives from the Adirondack Chamber of Commerce, were on hand for a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration at the new restaurant, located at 199 Corinth Road.
“We are excited to be able to open this beautiful new Taco Bell restaurant in Queensbury and are looking forward to be able to serve more people in the Adirondack region” said Steve Pinkerton, owner/vice president of the locally owned and operated Hospitality Syracuse.
Taco Bell hired over 50 new employees from crew members to full-time management personnel to operate the restaurant.
Construction began on the new Taco Bell restaurant in August. It features a state-of-art kitchen, comfortable modern dining room, extra wide drive thru lane and a Carmel Mountain ledgestone façade.
Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
In 1954, Glen Bell built three taco stands in San Bernardino, Calif., eventually transforming into the Taco Bell chain, company officials said.
