Bank of America Merrill Lynch has announced that Tim Willard has been named vice president and Business Banking client manager for upstate New York. In this role, Willard will provide comprehensive financial advisory services, which include lending, treasury and international banking solutions, to small and mid-sized businesses.

Willard was most recently owner of Pine Lake Stoves in Caroga Lake, NY, where he led the successful growth of the company for the past six years. Prior to that he was a vice president with several major financial institutions, where he advised business clients on credit and capital markets strategies in a variety of industries including media, telecommunications, commercial real estate and health care.
Willard graduated with a bachelor of arts in economics from Colgate University and a master of business administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a concentration in finance.
A resident of Saratoga Springs and an active member of the community, Willard has volunteered his time with several local organizations, including the Saratoga County Rural Preservation Company, which offers housing and employment services to veterans and their families.
