Kyle R. Brock was appointed Glens
Falls Hospital’s vice
president for human
resources.
Brock has developing
and aligning
talent to achieve strategic
objectives, and
demonstrated ability
to build and retain
highly effective
teams, officials said.
He earned a master of science degree in
industrial and organizational psychology
from RPI. He is also a graduate of the University
of Dayton, earning a bachelors of science
in psychology and business management.
Most recently, Brock was the vice president
for human resources for Finch Paper.
Prior to that, he served in the same capacity
at SCA Tissue of North America. He was
also employed by both General Electric in
Selkirk and NAMIC/Pfizer/Boston Scientific
as manager of human resources.

The Fund for Lake George announced
that David Darrin and I. Robert “Ike”
Wolgin have joined the organization as
trustees.
Darrin is a resident of Hague and Mr.
Wolgin is a resident of Bolton Landing.
Darrin is past president of the board of
the Lake George Land Conservancy, where
he continues to serve on its Advisory Board.
He has also served on the boards of the
Albany Academy for Girls and the Emma
Willard School, and is a graduate of Rochester
Institute of Technology with a degree
in photographic sciences. His family are
the original benefactors of the RPI Darrin
Freshwater Institute in Bolton Landing.
Wolgin owns Lake George Kayak Co. and
he is also a principal of Waverly Management,
a Philadelphia-based developer of
commercial real estate and residential
housing. Previously, he was a partner in
the Sagamore Hotel and owner/operator of
Champlain Spinners Hydro.
Wolgin is a supporter of numerous
environmental and cultural activities in
the Adirondack Region, and serves on the
boards of the Lake George Land Conservancy
and Hudson Headwaters Health
Network. Ike is a graduate of the Boston
University School of Management.

Community, Work and Independence,
Inc. (CWI) announced the promotion of
Lisa Buckley of Glens Falls to supervising
coordinator of home care services.
In her new role, she will supervise
CWI’s Community Habilitation and Respite
services as well as Family and Individual
Support services.
Buckley has been employed at CWI for 12
years and worked in multiple areas including
Community Habilitation,
Supported
Employment, Respite
and primarily Transition
services. While
in Transition, she
served more than 200
students a year and
filled in as a recreation
leader for CWI’s
Youth Club.
She also served as a qualified intellectual
disability professional (QIPD) for CWI’s
Community Habilitation Services, and in
the Welfare to Work Program, she assisted
individuals with finding employment. In
addition, she served as a job coach for
Supported Employment Services (SEMP).
Buckley has a bachelor’s degree in sociology
from SUNY Potsdam.

Center announced the hiring of
two new employees in its sales department.
Tom Wysocki of Queensbury is the
new director of sales and marketing, and
Hannah Lynch is wedding and events
sales coordinator.
Wysocki has nearly
30 years of experience
in the hospitality
industry. He
worked for over 15
years with the Sagamore
Resort in Bolton
Landing as a manager
in all food and beverage
departments.
also worked as the
assistant director of sales and marketing
at the Sagamore for four years.
He worked at the Gideon Putnam Resort
and Spa as director of sales and marketing
for four years and The Inn at Erlowest on
Lake George as general manager.
Lynch graduated
from Russell Sage College
with a bachelor’s
in business and organizational
management.

Design in Chatham.

following physicians to its medical staff:
Dr. Jeffrey Louis Hedden, physical
medicine, received his medical degree
from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine. He
completed an internship and a residency at
Albany Medical Center.
Hedden is in practice at Adirondack
Rehabilitation Medicine in Queensbury.
