House of Grace of the Adirondacks Inc.
in Glens Falls announced the appointment
of Audrey Jean Shaw as its new director of
fundraising and community outreach.
Having served on its board since 2011,
most recently as its vice president, Shaw
possesses an in-depth understanding of
what the vital presence of this non-profit
organization means to the community, the
organization said.
From 2006 to 2013, Shaw worked one-onone
with cancer patients and their families
in the North Country, helping them find
assistance and resources as the Patient
& Family Services Coordinator with the
American Cancer Society in Queensbury.
She was also essential to the fundraising campaigns for ACS, such as Relay For Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Shaw brings extensive networks within both the patient services and fundraising circles of the community to her new role with House of Grace.
