The Adirondack Regional Chamber of
Commerce will hold its centennial gala,
to celebrate its presence in the business
community going back to 1914, on Nov. 1 at
the Sagamore Resort, 110 Sagamore Road
in Bolton Landing.
The Chamber’s 100th anniversary event
will feature four different rooms of live
entertainment.
In the main ballroom, Total Entertainment
will have a professional DJ. In each
of the remaining three rooms, the Chamber
will feature musicians Rich Ortiz, the
Charles Cornell Trio, and Avery Babson.
A signature specialty drink, designed by
the professionals at the Sagamore, will be
offered in each room.
Throughout the evening, a continuous
video presentation will depict the Chamber’s
journey through the century, including
historic photos and quotes from past
Chamber presidents and chairpersons of
the board of directors.
There will be a “Live Like You’re On
Vacation” raffle. The winner will receive
12 months worth of prizes, which includes
overnight stays at many of the resorts in
Lake George, entertainment packages, spa
services and more.
To take part in the raffle, people must
purchase one or more of the limited number
of raffle tickets available for $20 each
(winner need not be present at the gala
to win). To purchase a ticket, call Ashley
LaVoy at 798-1761.
There will also be hors d’oeuvres and
drink samples from several of the members
of the Adirondack Craft Beverage
Initiative.
The gala is open to the public and will
run from 6-11 p.m. Tickets are $100 per
person.

a champagne toast on the veranda at the
Sagamore. Those sponsors will have their
company’s name on the master sponsor list
displayed at the event.
