The Adirondack Flames and the Glens Falls
Civic Center announced a partnership with
the Davidson Brothers Brewing Co. for the
2014-15 season.
The brewing company renovated a portion
of Heritage Hall inside the Maple Room and
transformed the space into the Davidson Bros
Flames Pub, officials said.
The area is open on all game nights and is
accessible to fans present at the game.
“This initiative with Davidson Brothers allows
us to bring a well-known and respected
food and beverage brand from just a few
blocks away into Heritage Hall and enhance
the patron experience,” Adirondack Flames
President Brian Petrovek said.
“We commend the Davidsons’ vision and
creativity with this project and trust that
other downtown establishments would want to
follow suit. Our fans should be fired up about
this addition.”
The new Pub will be located next to the
buffet area and serve four authentic cask conditioned
ales in a British pub style setting.
The beers will be rotated among a variety of
Davidson brand craft beers, as well as beer selections from different pubs in the area.
The pub will also feature a light fair menu,
in conjunction with Ovations Food Services,
as well as soda and water, said officials.
The Davidson Bros. Flames Pub will also
partner with Labatt Blue and Saratoga Eagle
to include the Canadian lager on tap. Labatt
will also provide a bubble hockey table and
a basketball game. Televisions, which will
provide an in-house game feed, will also be
in the bar.
“John and I are very happy to provide
Adirondack Flames fans with the authentic
Davidson Brothers pub experience inside
the Civic Center,” Rick Davidson, brewer and
owner, Davidson Brothers Brewing Co., said.
The new pub debuted on Oct. 11 for the
Flames’ first game against the Albany Devils.
The Flames also have a “Saturday Night
is Hockey Night in Glens Falls” series, when
there are home games. Several local bars and
restaurants have partnered with the initiative
including Davidson Brothers, The Bullpen,
Applebee’s, Recovery Sports Grill and Dango’s
Irish Sports Bar, with additional partners to
be announced.
