The 25th annual Glens Falls Tae Kwon
Do Charity Board Break-a-thon raised
$21,234 in support of Cindy’s Comfort Camp.
As a program of the C.R. Wood Cancer
Center at Glens Falls Hospital, Cindy’s Comfort
Camp provides free, weekend overnight
camp for children and teens ages 6-17 that
have experienced the death or catastrophic
illness of a parent or sibling. Professional
grief counselors and trained volunteers help
campers gently explore their thoughts and
feelings and share their experiences. Last
month, 26 campers participated.
Glens Falls Tae Kwon Do is owned and
operated by Craig and Tamsin MacDonald.
The MacDonald family and Glens Falls Tae
Kwon Do students have raised over $250,000
for local charities through the Board Break-a-thon.
