The Adirondack Health Institute (AHI)
hosted seven students from the University of
Costa Rica for a presentation on April 22.
The SUNY Albany School of Public Health
arranged the AHI visit and the presentation
focused on the Adirondack region’s demographics,
health needs, and trends. The information
enabled the undergraduate and graduate
students to draw comparisons to their own
healthcare system.
After a question and answer session, Hudson
Headwater’s Dr. Paul Bachmann escorted the
students to the Warrensburg and Schroon Lake
Health Centers for a tour and discussion about
primary care.
