A total of 52 businesses and nonprofit organizations
participated in the Washington County
Business Showcase 2015 at the Whitehall
Athletic Club on June 11, sponsored by the
Washington County Local Development Corp.
Booths displayed products and services and
provided an opportunity for people to network.
It included complimentary appetizers, featuring samples from local producers.
Deanna Derway, president of the WCLDC,
said she was pleased with the turnout at what
has become an annual event.
“The networking part of it is impressive,” she
said. “It was a new venue so we weren’t sure
what kind of attendance we’d get.”
The showcase will return next year.
