Cool Insuring Agency of Latham was
selected as the 2015 recipient of the Robert
J. Ludwig Community Service Award, by the
Schenectady Jewish Community Center. The
award will be presented at the center’s upcoming
gala on Saturday, Nov. 14, at Key Hall of Proctor’s
Theater in Schenectady.
Cool Insuring Agency Inc. was founded in
1857 by Charles W. Cool, the first mayor of
Glens Falls. It maintains offices in Latham and
Glens Falls.
The agency was selected to receive the award
in recognition of its continued commitment to
the local community and its support of area
nonprofit organizations, said Mark Weintraub,
executive director of the Schenectady Jewish
Community Center.
