Kinsey brings 16
years of industry experience,
specializing in
office equipment and
solutions. A Saratoga
Springs native and
a graduate of SUNY
Plattsburgh, he has a familiarity with various areas
of the North Country.
Kinsey has a degree in graphic design and
business/marketing. He will lead the sales organization
as well as assist in the development of
marketing strategies and sales campaigns.

Stored Technology Solutions Inc. (StoredTech)
announced that Doug Gillson, an industry veteran,
was appointed as new vice president of infrastructure.
Gillson will lead StoredTech’s expanding Telecom
Division, which includes products and services
related to voice, physical security systems,
access control systems and video surveillance
systems and services.
Gillson has been in the industry for over 30
years, having co-founded Tech II Business Services
in Saratoga Springs.

named Kevin O’Brien
as senior vice president
of insurance sales
and operations for the
bank’s insurance subsidiaries.
O’Brien will oversee
the operation and
growth of the bank’s
insurance subsidiaries, including McPhillips
Insurance Agency, Upstate Agency and Capital
Financial Group – all divisions of Glens Falls
National Insurance Agencies LLC. He has experience
in the industry as co-owner of R. J. O’Brien
Insurance in Glens Falls for 18 years and prior
to that, as a supervisor at Travelers for 10 years.
A Glens Falls resident, O’Brien has a bachelor’s
degree in business administration from
the College at Brockport. He is active in the
community, serving on the boards of the Tri-
County United Way, Rotary Club of Glens Falls,
Conkling Center, Glen at Hiland Meadows and
the United Way of New York.

that Tara Anne Pleat has been named a

Pleat graduated cum laude from Albany Law
School and earned her undergraduate degree
from SUNY Albany.
After undergraduate school, she began working
as an estate planning paralegal in Albany. She
graduated from Albany Law School in 2002 with
honors in the estate planning concentration.

agency director.
He will lead a team
of account managers,
creative directors
and designers, web,
social media and public
relations experts
and group sales professionals charged with
maintaining and expanding the reach of the
company’s branding and messaging.
He will oversee a portfolio consisting of
Capital Repertory Theatre, Universal Preservation
Hall, Proctors School of Performing Arts,
Open Stage Media, Schenectady County Visitors
Agency and Marquee Power, among others.
Murphy comes to Proctors from a position
as vice president of advertising at The Daily
Gazette in Schenectady. He has newspaper
industry experience as writer, editor, local and
corporate advertising leader and online manager,
and he was previously a group publisher
of over 30 daily and weekly newspapers in New
York, Illinois and Pennsylvania.
