Peter L. Aust, the former president and CEO of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce and a resident of Lake George, has joined the firm Barton & Loguidice as a regional business development manager.
Barton & Loguidice is an engineering, planning, environmental, and landscape architecture firm.
Aust has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and executive leadership in the Capital Region and the Adirondacks. In addition to being CEO of ARCC, he led the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County prior to that. In those roles, he was responsible for legislative and business advocacy, leadership training, community development and enhancements, along with other Chamber initiatives.
The ARCC board of directors of the announced in January that Aust was leaving the post. In May, Tori J.E. Riley was named to that position.

Aust earned an Institute for Organization Management designation at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. He also earned a certificate in business management at Lowery Institute of Management, Chicago.
He serves on the Warren/Washington/Saratoga Counties Workforce Investment Board. He is on the board of directors of the Tri-County United Way and a member of the Good Scout Committee of the Wakpominee Chapter Boy Scouts of America.
