Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. announced the promotion of Marc Yrsha to senior vice president.
Yrsha, of Queensbury, will lead the bank’s corporate development team as part of the retail banking group. In his new role, he will oversee marketing, business services and community engagement for the Arrow family of companies. He will continue to manage business development and small business lending.
Yrsha joined the bank in 2015 and was most recently vice president, director of business development and small business.
Yrsha is a graduate of Castleton University in Vermont and the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Adirondack Class of 2013. He is on the board of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce and he is a member of the Council of Business Advisors for The FUND for Lake George. He is also an active member of the Adirondack Youth Hockey Association.

The Chazen Companies announced that Elizabeth Bartosik and Johnathan A. Gell have received their engineer in training (EIT) designation.
EIT is a professional designation from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) to designate a person certified by the state as having completed a minimum of three years of post-secondary school with an accredited engineering program and has passed the NCEES six-hour Fundamentals of Engineering examination. Receiving an EIT designation is one step toward professional engineer licensure.
Bartosik works in Chazen’s Land Development group and has a broad background and experience, and supports a wide range of projects. Recently, she has been able to successfully complete applications for renewal of the Part 360 solid waste management facility permits for two transfer stations.
Gell started with Chazen directly out of graduating from Clarkson University and works in Chazen’s Structural Engineering Group. He works on public and private sector projects and is helping develop Chazen’s 3D modeling standards in Revit.
The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) in Lake George has promoted Seth Jones, manager of its education programs since 2012, to education director
He will be responsible for overseeing ADK’s Education Department which includes over 90 skills workshops, ADK’s Three Seasons at Heart Lake 4th Grade School Outreach Program, Leave No Trace outdoor skills and ethics education and the Adirondack High Peaks Summit Stewardship Program.
Jones has worked for ADK since 2008, first as a High Peaks Summit steward then as the Johns Brook Lodge coordinator. He has been a part of the education team since 2012 where he focused on building and growing ADK’s high school and college student programs. Jones has also been an integral part of ADK’s communication team by developing ADK’s social media presence, managing blog content and by telling stories for the organization through his photography and videography.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in conservation biology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He is also on the board of the Waterman Fund, an organization dedicated to fostering the spirit of wildness and conserving the alpine areas of Northeastern North America.

BST & Co. LLP announced that Katie E. Stott has been appointed partner at the Capital Region-based financial and management consulting firm. Stott formerly served as senior manager and has more than a decade of experience in finance and accounting.
As a partner with the firm’s valuation, forensic and litigation department, Stott conducts valuation studies of privately-held business enterprises, professional licenses, advanced academic degrees, stock options and professional practices for a variety of circumstances, including matrimonial proceedings and other litigation matters.
She has also been involved in numerous forensic accounting engagements for private companies, school districts and municipalities. Additionally, she is experienced in the areas of embezzlement, corporate and individual tax fraud, and cases involving the misappropriation of assets.
Stott earned both a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in taxation from SUNY Albany. She is a certified public accountant, accredited in business valuation. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Gallup holds a state insurance agents’ license and a Bachelor of Science degree in business and viticulture and enology from Cornell University.
