Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. has announced the promotions of the following individuals: Megan Bohan to assistant vice president and Jenine Macura to vice president.
Bohan is the branch manager for the Glens Falls National main office. In this role, she interacts with multiple lines of business and oversees branch operations.
She joined the company in 2002 as a teller. She became branch manager in 2016.
Bohan serves as treasurer of the Adirondack Samaritan Counseling Center board of directors.
Macura is currently the branch manager for the Granville office. She started with the company in 2012.

NBT Bank has promoted Marc Monahan to vice president. He now serves as a team leader on NBT Bank’s management team based in Glen Falls.
Monahan has more than a decade of banking experience. He joined the NBT Bank team in 2010 as a branch manager and advanced to the position of market manager. In 2015, he became a business banking officer.
Monahan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from SUNY Oswego. He is a board member of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce, member of the Adirondack Civic Center Coalition Board, President of the Glen Falls Civic Center Foundation, and a member of the Glen Falls Hospital Foundation Board.

Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. announced the appointments of Blake Jones to vice president and marketing director and Jillian Cutrone to assistant vice president and communications manager.
As marketing director, Jones will manage the marketing team and oversee the company’s marketing strategy. She most recently served as vice president of communications and has been with the bank for five years.
Jones has nearly 15 years of experience in communications, including a background in journalism. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Washington and Lee University and is active in the community through service on various local nonprofit committees.
As communications manager, Cutrone will be responsible for corporate communications, media relations and developing content for advertising and marketing campaigns. She will report to Jones.

Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs, PC announced that Gretchen Guenther-Collins, J.D. M.S., CPA, has rejoined the firm in the capacity of tax manager.
Guenther-Collins is a graduate of the College of Saint Rose, earning a Bachelor of Science in accounting as well as a Master of Science in Accounting. She was previously an audit manager with the firm from 2000-07 before taking a 10-year hiatus to pursue her own business and work in the legal and higher education industries.
She transitioned from an adjunct professor at the College of Saint Rose and began as a full-time accounting instructor at the college in January of 2007. She then rose to interim dean of the Huether School of Business in 2016. Meanwhile, she pursued her Juris Doctorate at Albany Law School and completed two legal internships before earning her degree in December 2014. She was admitted to the 3rd Department of the New York State Court System in July of 2015.
In her new role at TBC, Guenther-Collins will focus on individual and corporate taxation, including tax planning as well as tax compliance issues. She is presently serving as the treasurer of the board of directors of the Albany Damien Center and has held several roles in other nonprofit organizations.

Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. promoted Andrew J. Wise to executive vice president and chief operating officer.
In the newly created role, Wise will report to the CEO and be responsible for the overall management of the company’s internal administration, including operations and strategic planning.
He joined the bank in 2016 and was most recently the chief administrative officer. He has more than 25 years of operational and information technology management experience.
Wise has a bachelor’s degree from Boston University’s School of Management and is a state-licensed insurance broker. Active in the community, he serves on the board of the Wesley Community and is a member of the Saratoga Springs Lions Club.

The Double H Ranch announced the appointment of board member Maureen E. O’Brien to the role of secretary and member of the group’s Executive Committee.
O’Brien is a resident and native of Albany, New York. She is a graduate of the Academy of the Holy Names, the University of Norte Dame (B.A.) and New York University (M.A.). Her career has focused on new business development and government relations.
Since 2007, O’Brien has worked for Motorola Solutions serving as the director of government affairs and in 2017 promoted to the executive director. Her work with Motorola Solutions focuses on interaction, education, advocacy and legislative activity with key funders and approvers of public safety communications projects.

Andrew E. Clark, CFP, a senior financial planner at NBT Financial Services, a division of NBT Wealth Management, earned his master’s degree from the College for Financial Planning.
Clark has over 12 years of experience as a financial planner. The master’s program curriculum is based on a client-centered, problem-solving method using case studies to give students a hands-on approach.
Before joining NBT in 2013, Clark owned Clark Wealth Management, where he provided clients with financial planning and investment advisory services. Prior to that, he was lead financial planner and wealth advisor at Cornerstone Wealth Management Group, where he developed comprehensive plans for the firm’s high net worth clients.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics at the University at Albany in 2000 and his designation as a certified financial planner professional in 2011. Clark is FINRA General Securities, Series 7 and 66 registered, held through LPL Financial. He also holds state licenses in life and health insurance and variable annuities.

The Adirondack Thunder hired Nathan Gosline to join their front office in advance of the 2017-18 season as the director of corporate sales.
Gosline, a Queensbury native, has over a decade of sales and marketing experience in the sports industry. He joins the Thunder from the Tampa Bay Rays organization, where he served as director of sales for both Rays spring training and the Charlotte Stone Crabs of the Florida State League. Gosline worked within the Rays organization for two seasons and oversaw all sponsorship sales for both entities.
Gosline served as the vice president of corporate partnerships with the Mississippi River Kings of the Central Hockey League from 2008-13. With the River Kings, he was responsible for managing the franchise’s corporate partnerships and expanding the team’s reach in the business community.
Gosline also worked in the ECHL from 2002 -08 with the Florida Everblades, beginning as group sales manager before he was promoted to director of sales in 2005. Under his direction, the Everblades won the ticket sales department of the year at the 2006 ECHL League Meetings.
He is a graduate of both Queensbury High School and SUNY Adirondack.

The Hyde Collection announced the promotion of three staff members, Colette Broestler, Kayla Ditlefsen and Keri Dudek.
Broestler, who has served as administrative assistant for the past two years, is the new external affairs associate. In this role, she will manage the museum’s donor database system and support department activities including membership, cultivation, and special events.
Working under Director of External Affairs Tawn Malison, Broestler will provide support for development goals and marketing strategies.
Ditlefsen was hired as administrative assistant after a year as visitor services associate. She will provide general office support, including monitoring and maintaining the phone system, and will lead the visitor services staff.
Dudek has worked as part-time educator since October. She moved into a full-time position beginning July 10.
Dudek works with museum educator Jenny Hutchinson to develop curriculum for the Hyde’s educational programs, and leads children’s activities including Tours for Tots, ARTfull Afternoons, and workshops.

Silver Bay YMCA announced that Nick Rama will join its team as development director, starting July 31.
In this role, Rama will take charge of the development activities at Silver Bay YMCA, which funds the organization’s many free outreach programs such as the Ticonderoga Teen Center, Cancer Respite program, Clergy Respite program and Military R&R program.
Rama worked for the last several years as the senior development officer at SUNY New Paltz. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at the Culinary Institute of America in several roles, including senior director of annual giving and significant giving, senior director of advancement operations and associate director of corporate relations.
